Manage Your Expectations pushes the concept of the trigger warning to absurdist extremes, using humour to question how ‘informed’ consent can really be. And how much we actually want to know. Created by multi-award winning Eliza Sanders, this high-energy, genre-blending work (part dance, part clown, part absurd philosophising) explores the limits of language, the influence of context, and our failure to say what we really mean.
“Clever, witty, evocative, subversive, immersive, despairing, poignant, personal and universal” – Deirdre Tarrant, Theatreview
