Lia Kelly is a Pōneke-based theatre maker, teacher, director, actor, improviser and musician. Over the past decade, she’s been involved in numerous productions across the city, including with Playshop and PopRox. Her directing debut SUPER CLEAN earned her ‘Most Promising Emerging Artist’ at the 2017 NZ Fringe Awards, and One Night Band won ‘Most Original Production’ at the 2023 Wellington Theatre Awards. Most recently, she musically directed Farce Onion for the NZ International Comedy Festival.
